Would like to get my SdLDL tested, hopefully without getting a prescription. Would anyone know of any online labs where a person can order that test?
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Mercury Levels: What if any are acceptable?
Thanks Julie,
I ordered the test myself without a doctor, I need to reach back out to Quicksilver to ask what they would recommend but my fear is that they would give advice based on monetizing their supplements.
Are you currently doing any detox for heavy metals?

Re: Mercury Levels: What if any are acceptable?
Just got back my Quicksilver Scientific Mercury test results:
Methylmercury— 3.43 (Population Average 1.95)
Inorganic Mercury - .223 (Population Average .139)
Sum – 3.65 (Population Average .833)
Wondering if you would recommend doing the Quicksilver detox protocol?
Julie how were your results?

Re: Curcumin not as effective in APOE4
I found this to be the cheapest source for Longvida.
http://www.swansonvitamins.com/now-food ... 0-veg-caps
Wait for 15% or 20% sale to get it for even lower.

Curcumin not as effective in APOE4
Came across this study. Think it would add to the discussion since most of us are taking Turmeric based on mouse studies. This study says it might not be as beneficial as we thought. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4026431/ In conclusion, we provide evidence that curcumin affects mitoch...

Hyperbaric treatment for Alzheimer’s
Came across an interesting article on hyperbaric treatment in treatment of AD. Would love to get a good conversation going on this topic, since hyperbaric treatment has a strong effect on mitochondria. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23266522 Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by accumulat...
