Re:

Omg how stunning. Please can you photocopy everything you have and email it to me? I'll work my way through your notes and ask questions if I need. I'm with Stavia here! I would also love to get the video's if possible. In order to understand so much of what we discuss here, because this is all so ...

Re: niacin---nicotinomide

Ah yes, Ski, you are so right! I do need to take everything in context and since I don't have a good grasp of my current numbers I am riding the fear train. I had to smile when you said So if you have an increase in fasting BG is that the end of the world That brought a smile to my face and the ever...

Re: Dr Bredesen's Handout from Panel Discussion at Buck Institute on Feb 28

Thanks Julie for the reply. I wish I could have made it up there, New York is closer than SF but still very far away. What with all of the difficulties I have suddenly started to experience and all of the nutrition questions I have, that makes missing the conference even worse! Sounds like my curren...

Re: niacin---nicotinomide

I have questions about this too. I am concerned about blood sugar going up with B3 supplements. I found this study - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3616313/ which says that HIGHLIGHTS NR efficiently increases NAD+ levels in mammalian cells and tissues NR supplementation increases SIRT1 ...

Re: Dr Bredesen's Handout from Panel Discussion at Buck Institute on Feb 28

Looking at this list of herbs and supplements begs the question (for me anyway) "should we be taking all of these?" What do you guys think? Also, my blood sugar is crazy right now. I can keep FBG down in the low 90's with a mild keto diet but it always spikes around 2 - 4:30 am and I wake ...

Re: San Fransisco Meet-up in May

Very possibly I am back on board for the trip!! Will there still be room?

Is SFO the best airport to fly into? Once we get to the airport, will BART get us to our accommodations? I will be traveling alone and not familiar with the area.

Oops! I meant to say Dr. Day spring, not Davis. Can I blame that on the gene or does catching it save me? :D

Re: San Fransisco Meet-up in May

Thanks, Julie, I was looking forward to meeting you and everyone else too. I already feel the strong sense of family here, we share the same genes ha ha. And because of the nature of that gene, we are bound together in a profound and unique way that only we can understand. It would be so awesome to ...
