Hi Chris,
Just a note to answer your question about glucose testing. I am so cluless about all of this I did not even know I could test it on my own. I may look into it. I am just trying to throw everything at this I can, and I have a lot of catching up to do to understand why.

Re: Intermittent fasting protocols to improve insulin control
Hi Chris, What you are suggesting sounds more complicated than what I am doing. I think I am doing roughly what Julie is doing. I started 3 months ago fasting 12 hours, and then after reading some information on this site that the fasting doesn't work as well for APOE4's I ramped it up. At first I w...

Re: NMR results = total confusion!
Thanks Stavia and Genepool,
I was tying to build up to 30 min 4 times a week, but today I had a sharp pain in my hip so jogging isn't going to continue unless this is a minor injury that goes away quickly.

Re: NMR results = total confusion!
I have been confused about something and reading your advice to LALucia, I thought this might be a good thread to ask it on. To reduce my LDL I am off of dairy fats - which is good and I have been told to not eat starchy veggies (like potatoes) and eliminate or reduce my carbs. Now I am trying to st...

H Julie, I recently listened to the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and found it very calming.
Good Luck,

Re: Dr. Bredesen's new company
Hi, I went to the Seminar in Sonoma that was held in Dec of 2015. I am not sure if there have been any since. In Feb of 2015, I read Dr. Bredesen's paper published in the Fall of 2015. I started to try and implement everything on my own. I contacted Dr. Bredesen to see if there was some help. As a r...

Hi Stavia,
Sorry if I don't understand this 100% -- Is the suggestion here that a couple times a week you should limit food and drink to an 8 hour period? Do you know if this means no water during that time?

Re: Alcohol risks for AD
I was at the Bredesen dec conference and they had a wine tasting - so I doubt he is 100% anti. Somewhere I read or heard to limit drinks to only 3 a week and that is what I am trying to do.
