Re: Blog Post mentions Bredesen book--I feel like this is a shared accomplishment

Way to go, Drae!! You will never know how many people in N.C. and elsewhere you've inspired to get out and hike. Keep on trekking, sister. Hugs from VA. Thanks, NF52. Yes, it is good to inspire people to hike, but the real deal is not only to reverse my issues but to get the word out there about th...

Blog Post mentions Bredesen book--I feel like this is a shared accomplishment

Hi, all! Hiking with a purple Alzheimer's NC cap has gotten some coverage on turning AD around. Please forgive if this is not okay and jerk it offline immediately. Here's the link: NC State Parks blog post references Bredesen book and lifestyle changes. I just hit 50 miles on State Park trail...

Re: Good News, Glucose and otherwise

Enjoying life more is a wonderful result that is its own "biomarker" of success! NF52, You made my day with this. I have been paying attention when Stavia encourages us to go for activities we enjoy. And now I am passionate about letting people know AD is preventable and reversible. And, ...

Re: Good News, Glucose and otherwise

Congratulations drae! This is a big deal. And it's quite possible that your A1C will continue to improve doing exactly what you doing, ultimately reversing IR as well. You can see Dr Bredesen's target values for IR labs in his book. There are those on our site who target lower. One step at a time. ...

Re: Wading in slowly

Welcome, BSchmaltzy. One question: Are you trying to tell us something besides your name? =) LOL I enjoyed your missive. I write long posts, too. And, I am new, relatively speaking. I first showed my name here in December. Since then, I have tried to figure out my symptoms, the protocol and what in ...

Good News, Glucose and otherwise

Hi, friends (even those of you I have never read or exchanged posts with). I am learning this is the one place where I have a shot at being understood. Thank you all! Long time no see. My fault. I really have been keeping myself busy, from doing the food, exercise, etc. to enjoying the spring time, ...

Re: Fiji water - Reversal of Alzheimer's

Laurie, I was surprised to see no responses to this. I want to thank you for this post. I have not read the rest of your posts but you made a very clear possibility of a causal relationship to the improvement. I'm thinking I might relieve Costco of a couple cases of fiji water and drink it as you de...

Re: Can I practice the Bredesen protocol without a trained practitioner?

Wow, Julie! LOL I think this group has brought that word and the state of being of "WOW" back into my life. I have to say, it really is working for me. It has been just over 3 months since I read Dr Bredesen's book and found the Apoe4 forum. And, I am feeling better physically, have more e...
