I wonder if that study used isolated caffeine or caffeine in coffee? May make a difference? Could the high level of antioxidants nullify whatever adverse affect the caffeine itself may have? Does the kind of coffee matter? So many variables. I think I'm sticking with my coffee for now  I fi...

Re: Warnings for a HFLC Diet
Juliegee maybe you can answer something. When I first picked up Dr Perlmutter's book I went straight to where he mentions APOE4. In one or two paras he first said we don't know how APOE4 works, and then said his diet will work for APOE4. I thought, "If you don't know how APOE4 works, how do you...

Re: Warnings for a HFLC Diet
Do you have a thought as to macro percentages? I find that easier to work with, since a given number of carb grams might work fine unless I am able to work out more. My expenditure changes and I need my calories to change with it, so steady grams of macros each day doesn't work for me. Using percent...

Re: Sunflower seeds
There's was a thread I can't find now where some meals were posted with photos and we talked about doing more of that, but I don't think it took off. I know the list admins didn't want to have toooooo many discussion categories set up, but I think recipes might make a nice one
