Re: Disturbing news about E4 and HSV1

Just an FYI,
I read a while back that the old herpes zoster shingles vaccine reduced cold sores. I haven't seen anything about new shingrix yet. Taking lysine has proven to cut down cold sores as well.

Re: Anyone else see this Danish Analysis?

Do Danes eat as many carbs/grains ? Fish intake? Vitamin K2? There might be clues if the AD rates are less in E4/E4

Tincup, I'm in awe of your juggling while on a slackline. I might try to juggle on solid ground at some point later.

Re: Intact 4/3's or 4/4's in their 90's

There are populations that are high in percentage of E4s that are still Hunter/gatherer where Alzheimer's is virtually nonexistent among the very old. Like in Africa and new guinea. E4 is ancestral (older) and some of us have wondered if the E2 and E3 sprang up as a result of being protective of som...

Re: Slacklining: Vestibular, working memory & more

So we have been going out to the park and setting up a slackline once or twice a week. I'm still pretty bad at it, but other than gaining some core and leg strength, I can now keep my balance on a regular floor on one leg with my eyes closed for almost 30 seconds. I couldn't do that at all before. S...

Re: Can I kill myself with spinach?

The above, plus spinach has nitrates/nitrates and also picks up minerals in the soil - so not good if there is a lot of lead or something (iron or calcium will tie up lead though). That being said, it's still really good for you.

Re: HeartMath

I played with heart math 20 years ago. I think my COMT++ interferes with the time to relaxation. So it appeared to not work. I had a 9pin RS232 serial connector for my finger sensor. Back then, I so identified with Seinfeld's "serenity now" episode. The actual information was hard to find ...
