Re: Has anyone used the Dynamic Neural Retraining Program?
Gigi, another member, who's a trained psychotherapist has participated in several of her workshops and has very generously showed me some of the DNRS techniques via a Zoom meeting. It was really powerful. If you (or others) are interested, we could ask Gigi to do a demonstration for us. I'm really ...

Re: Just discovered I'm 4/4
Other members have expressed concern about the accuracy of their ApoE results with direct to consumer lab companies. Some of these folks have retested with other companies. Finding these stories on our website would be challenging! I don't recall anyone announcing different results, but this is comp...

Re: Mosconi cites studies that HRT is bad for apoe4 women
"Although more evidence is needed, some studies suggest that estrogen-plus-progestin therapy could potentially have a more negative impact on women with the APOE-4 gene. As a result, APOE-4 carriers should be especially prudent when considering this option and should make a point of bringing t...

Has anyone used the Dynamic Neural Retraining Program?
I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has gone through the DNRP program, which uses neuroplasticity to calm down the limbic system. It is recommended by several practitioners who treat those of us with mold or Lyme co-infection issues (Bredesen type 3).

Re: Doubts, Depressing Reviews
The concept that AD is a lifestyle disease "seems" correct to me; it has the feeling of correctness to it. ... My mother, lifelong extremely proactive in her health, has suddenly turned utterly apathetic about her cognitive health. I understand your ambivalence and desire to help your mot...

Re: Can Herpes Zoster ophthalmicus (Shingles) affect the Alzheimer's brain?
Should a Shingrex vaccination be standard for 4/4s? Is there any reason to avoid it? I linked to the CDC website earlier in this thread. It discusses who should get and who should not. While I think everyone who qualifies should get it, I haven't yet even though I qualify (do as I say, not as I do)...

Re: What one test should I add?
If I were to do one non-Medicare test, would you recommend a hormone panel or vitamins/minerals/metals? What do you mean by "hormone panel"? More extensive thyroid tests? Female hormones? If you were low on estradiol and progesterone female hormones (most likely as you are age 70), would ...
