Welcome! If he's not currently exercising on a regular basis, he should begin immediately, if his health permits. As you probably see here, there are many different opinions on diet, supplements, etc, but we all seem to agree on exercise being vital.

Robin, yes topamax definitely helps, but Gene is right, it comes with fairly significant side effects. For my girls (and my mother), they believe it's worth it. Neither girls have aura and yes, the oldest one lives with headache 24/7. It's just a matter of intensity. We've had to take numerous ER tr...

TX4, yes I made no other changes in diet, medicine, exercise in the five weeks other than the coffee. Actually, I did switch to patch HRT from cream three days before the second draw, but I don't think that would drop the LDL. Thanks for the note George. I think Gundry is a smart guy. I do eat dairy; am trying to balance natural calcium intake for osteopenia and yet decent lipids. Always a challenge!
