Re: Spirit animal

My spirit animal has been the dolphin, active, playful, chatty, protective but generally not aggressive. My son says his is the pelican, very loyal, and can be part of a group or sustain independence. Both of us spent a good deal of time on the pacific side of northern Florida when we were young. I ...

Re: Should I stop supplementing with b12?

I just returned from an appt with Mitsu, Dr Gundry's PA. My blood levels for B12 (taking 1000 mcg daily) is 1376 pg/ml by Veridia labs which is at the top for normal on Veridia's standards. Mitsu increased my intake to 5000 mcg's daily. Seemed high considering. And yes I am heterozygous genotype for...

Re: Lab testing: prioritization, costs

Great questions. I am 4/4. I started as Susan J suggested several years ago. My primary physician ordered as many of the labs as she could justify. My main issue is lowering sdLDL. When I reached a point that I could not explain or come up with new step, I decided to make an appt with Dr Gundry as h...

Re: Max Lugavere Talk: TEDx Venice Beach

I don't doubt that you are factually correct and I am fine to agree to disagree. I think I watch it with a different perspective. Remembering when I was in my 30's and would educate myself with the most recent science or what I thought was the most recent. I never was invited to Ted Talks but often ...

Re: Max Lugavere Talk: TEDx Venice Beach

Enjoyed that a millennial is stepping up to spread information about prevention of dementia. Even if it is not scientifically factual. If there is ever a pharmaceutical success and we are honest about all the research and testing necessary to get there, it is unlikely that any of us will still be ar...

Re: Can I kill myself with spinach?

I am always curious if supplements ( Vital Reds, Mercola's greens, et al) that contain greens nutrients also have high amounts of oxalic acid or if somehow it is reduced or eliminated through the process of creating the supplement. I have avoided them because I don't have that answer. Anyone have an...

Re: Can I kill myself with spinach?

Quick update on my post concerning oxalic acid, kidney stones. I am not sure currently anyone dies of kidney stones .. 6 years ago I was strictly following Dr WAhl's diet. I enjoyed 7-8 cups of kale, spinach and other greens daily in addition to almonds and almond butter on apples for snacks. I also...

"Reading studies, need coffee. All I know: it's beautifully terribly complex. It's really a miracle that any of it works at all. Being healthy, but sometimes this mess of billions of neurons has had enough avocados and just wants a crunchy cookie." I find this to be hilarious and agree who...
