Re: eating 2 cups of nuts . too much fat? CALORIES?
I am eating almost 2 cups of nuts (raw almonds, walnuts, macadamia, pecans, pistachios), and goat milk yogurt, omega 3, olive oil, coconut oil... a lot in my diet, yet I have not gained an ounce. I seem to poop a lot, and I mean a lot... which means that I am not digesting the fat. I used to eat a ...

For the MHTFR mutation my FM physician recommended Methyl Assist by Pure Encapsulations one pill twice a day and Homocysteine Factors again from Pure Encapsulations one pill twice a day. you made my day Josiah!!!
I am on the same boat, although I don't keep it a secret. My husband thinks I'm a hypochondriac, lol. And yes, it is a comfort to belong to this group that share the same goals.

Hi Angie Genes are not destiny. This can be your mantra going forward. No matter what you find out, the strategies we use are helpful for everyone. We were all in your shoes before we found out our status but know that whatever the outcome, it gets better. There is hope. My brother was diagnosed wit...
