Re: Keto Diet and hypothyroidism

Thank you for bringing up this subject. I have Hashimoto's and, becoming newly aware of my 4/4 status, tried Keto on and off this summer and subsequently felt awful. It could have been any number of things - I'm still not sure if I wasn't suffering from "the Keto flu" - but after talking w...

Re: article: Iron Is the New Cholesterol

Re: ReCODE in Italy

Welcome smemo! Just in my experience, I think the advise to find a functional or integrative medicine practitioner is a good one - or if your primary care physician seems open to the kind of thinking advanced in Dr. Bredesen's book. I hope my related story helps - my doctor was not trained in the Re...

Re: New paper from Dr. Bredesen/larger dataset

So interesting! Thanks Julie. One question - I see at the top of the paper that Dr. Bredesen's affiliation is noted as UCLA. I thought I read from his book that he was at the Buck Institute, so maybe he moved? Just curious.

Re: Low serum free T3 is associated with an increased risk of AD

I'm sending the link to my doctor and will be discussing at my next visit. I feel very grateful to you and to everyone who comprises this group, and that I can be a p...

Re: Supplement side effects

I am resurrecting an old set of posts about supplement side effects. SusanJ, did you ever figure out if the citicoline or magnesium threonate were the cause of your heart issues, and did you ever add those supplements back in to your regimen? I tried adding magnesium l-threonate (from Double Wood, 5...

Re: Upcoming online event: Regain your brain - last day to watch for free!

Just a heads up that if you are interested in catching any of the speakers in this series, today is the last day to do so for free. I watched almost all the interviews (each is about one hour in length), and found each offered unique insights. Here is the link: https://regainyourbrain.awakeningfroma...
