Re: Maternal Inheritance

Hi slacker ,

I was just wondering if others in the forum know about this and if its valid, perhaps from their own research?

I don't have the specific study the book was referring to right now.

Re: The Generation Study question

Thanks NF52 !
I look forward to continuing to read your posts and hearing about how the trial goes. I read in Bredesen about no single pill and about more of patching up 36 holes...

Thanks for this! Geez, here I thought the aluminum was ruled out as a potential culprit!

Maternal Inheritance

I came across some reading which states that a "mutation in the DNA of the mitochondria of the cytochrome C oxidase gene" means that if mom passed it on you than you are 9 times more likely than if dad did? Do you think this is just based on a small study ?

Ibuprofen and not aspirin to prevent AD

Interesting that I have come across in reading books that Ibuprofen reduces inflammation to prevent AD but not aspirin? The trade off is potential stomach bleeding and maybe kidney issues. Is anyone doing this?

Another thing to consider with water... avoid drinking those sparkling waters when they come in cans?

Pardon me...Mine is actually a " Yeti" which when I look it up online is stainless steel. I am just thinking of things that I never considered, so glad to have this forum!

Also- Do you drink coffee from a tin travel mug? I have been wondering if that is a bad idea due to metals seeping into my coffee?
