Re: Welcome!!!
Hi, KrisRich, welcome to the site! We indeed have a lot of information here. :-) I'll point you toward our site Primer . It was written by physician member Stavia, and is a wonderful reference many of us use over and over. It will probably answer many of your questions as you think of them. And Dr. ...

Re: Newbie, My dad just passed from Alzheimers and I'm APOE4/4

Drae, Circ has dubbed you ... Drae the Beacon of Positivity. I think you should add that to your signature on the site. :-) Oh, Jan. What an encourager you are! That might be a hat a little too big for this head.  :D In Circular's honor, and yours, I have chosen a signature line. What d...

Re: If Your Hippocampus Is Bigger Than Normal, Don't Worry About Getting Alzheimer's
Oh, wait, there's another screen, active steps per hour, with an arc that colors the tiny circles red if I did 250+ steps per hour. Ok, not too bad for today, but ... not sure how much my hippocampus benefitted. It doesn't feel any larger at the moment ...

Re: If Your Hippocampus Is Bigger Than Normal, Don't Worry About Getting Alzheimer's
If you set your fitbit to show activity minutes on the ‘home screen’, the little flower with leaves added to its stem the longer you are ‘active’ might be a good standin for neurons growing ;) I do have minutes on my home screen, but don't see a flower with leaves. Mine has a lightning bolt. And, u...
