Re: Full Keto diet or not?
A year later I discovered the Perfect Health Diet and have been 70-90% compliant since, more compliant since I learned I am APOE 4/4. Lowish carbs (non-white-potato tubers and almost no grain), moderate protein (frequent SMASH fish), lots of EVOO, avocado, non-sugary vegetables. Two years ago start...

Re: Theri Raby, MD / Chicago, IL
I was just about to write that Dr. Raby no longer takes patients, and I see you beat me to it! :D Dr. Buchanen is my current doctor and she knows about Dr. Bredesen's book. I'm not sure if she read it, but she knows about it. I'm sticking with her for now, but I don't feel that she is so knowledgea...

Re: Deep Sleep Linked to Early Alzheimer's Signs Non-REM slow wave activity tied to tau pathology
I received an Oura ring for Christmas so I've been using it for about a month. I find it very informative as a sleep tracker, less so during the day as a fitness tracker. I'm now just wearing it at night. In addition to giving details about amount and stages of sleep, it also gives heart rate and he...

Re: Alzheimer's caregivers, guardians, and conservators
I'm no expert but this article lists a number of essential oils that may be beneficial, and the list seems pretty consistent on other sites.

Re: How many of us have Frank's Sign?
I've heard of this relationship since I was a kid as I remember my dad and grandmother discussing it. They both had creases in their earlobes. My grandmother died of heart disease at 73 and my dad from AD at 83. I don't have a crease though, thankfully I guess.

Re: Replacement for Butter for Dipping Crab
I love mustard sauce with crab. Use Julie's mayo recipe and add some mustard and maybe a bit of Worcestershire.

Re: Anyone interested in a Qigong Meet-Up?
I would definitely be interested but kids are coming into town this weekend so the timing doesn't work for me either. Next time!
