Re: Sleep Apnea in E4
Gilgamesh, Some of these health monitoring devices are still in development, most companies now pushing sales before properly tested, thus you are really getting a beta device. Everyone trying to get a piece of the pie. The oximeter I got was Masimo iSpO2 pretty easy, think I will tape my finger up ...

Re: The TYPE of meditation you practice may matter...
I took a college yoga course with meditation from a yogi in the 70's and saw the benefit then. I am afraid I did not keep up with the practice. Later in the 90's used recorded relaxation techniques (my own voice) and a biofeedback machine to overcome agoraphobia by myself. Currently using iphone app...

Re: AD Blood Test Research Teleconference
Julie, yes one is my mom. Anyway i hear you on the statin but i think researchers dont take a lot into account when they do research. Even for example i read one that said something like oh we dont know if the subjects took any vitamins or not. we didnt ask.

Re: AD Blood Test Research Teleconference
Julie, I did get to listen to the entire teleconference the day it was on. I made two pages of notes but some of this way over my head. I thought interesting when one caller (I dont recall the name either a reaearcher and/or Dr) asked if this isnt a symptom of the disease, a neuro degenerative proce...

Re: Sleep Apnea in E4
I guess I will be next as I bought an oximeter to attach to my iPad. Pretty easy to install and run will be able to export to Spreadsheet to analyze. Have read up on a blog of people also doing a diy sleep study. I can see why you need a controlled environment. My sister pretty much freaked out with...

Re: Arsenic
Pal, the only way to remove contaminants from drinking water is RO. At home I RO the water and keep it in the refrigerator and seem to drink more that way. Thanks for posting the links on bottled water. When traveling I often think twice about what the water source is. Interesting that some of the l...

Re: Heavy metal contamination of cacao products, and supplem
Mike Adams was on Dr. Oz this morning, basically backing up what had been posted elsewhere on the heavy metal content in the soil, of some Asian countries, (more specifically China). Indicating do not eat imported rice from China or anything made of it. The problem is there is no heavy metal reporti...

Re: 96 y/o mom E3/4
Kit, another 96 with e4. How fascinating. In comparing my mom and my sis there are a lot of environmental factors to consider as well. Where the person livers, use of fertilizer, other chemicals, living in a unclean house, etc. all this plays a part. You may have to go back and consider these as wel...

Re: List of MOST nutrient dense foods
The difficulty seems to be finding any whole food without something else throw in. Like the pink tea with the glutamine. I see this all the time, I am spending a great deal of time reading lists of ingredients in tea. Will this trend ever end? its like add something to the green tea to get more mark...
