Re: Dr. Steven Gundry with diet recommendations for ApoE4

I hope no one takes my word just because I say something. But I do share the advice Dr Gundry provides, because we know his impressive CV, we know he’s helped countless patients, we know he’s seen/tested/tracked more ApoE4s than any other practicing doctor (or at least no one on these forums has ide...

Re: Help please. Best book you have ever found on reversing Diabetes Type 2.

Drae, This isn't a book, but a video. I just spent the weekend at Low Carb Breckenridge where there were some talks about dealing with/treating diabetes. One of the best talks on this, and certainly given by the most personable, was Dr Sarah Hallberg's. That video won't be available publicly for a f...

I’d like to express unwavering appreciation for everything Susan has done, her impressive even-keeled approach, and for her friendship. I know she will remain a friend, that she will continue to provide very valuable contributions to our forum discussions, and that her reason for leaving as board me...

As a fellow 4/4, I'm glad you're here. Maybe my moniker should be Pollyanna, but because of this website, I'm no longer scared of being 4/4, I feel empowered.

Regardless of how you feel, I'm just glad you're here.

Re: Dr. Steven Gundry with diet recommendations for ApoE4

Aren't you concerned about a B12 level so high? As a former vegan, with two half MTHFR mutations, not to mention my 4/4 status I’m ecstatic about having gotten my B-12 levels up. When googling B-12, all the talk seems to be about deficiency which can lead to damage especially in the brain and nervo...

2) GROUNDING/EARTHING: Is very important for a number of reasons. I should always wear shoes that support my heels. rrao, FYI, I found a strap one can apply to the outside of a shoe, specifically to address folks like me who shouldn't go barefoot. I just bought one. https://intuition-physician.mysh...

Re: New With 2x The Risk of Alzheimers Disease

they say that makes me 2 times more likely for Alzheimers disease. Remember, that just reflects statistics based on historical data. I plan to beat my odds. It’s AMAZING what people can do with lifestyle changes to impact how their genes are expressed. I like to say that the genes are just the hard...

Re: Meditative living and "flow"

I've been exploring various approaches to joyful living for some years. Doing something that brings out the best in you, with complete focus, at a slightly challenging level. Curious about what others have been discovering on their own journeys. I, quite inadvertently, became a bird watcher. It sta...
