Re: Brainstorming about our 2017 meet-up!

Re: I'm 29, 4/4, w/ Lyme and Scleroderma

I had an autoimmune disease also, sarcoidosis when I was 60. After being treated for two bouts, I went into remission six yea...

I did it from August 2016 to May 2017. I ate lots of dairy, mostly non fat yoghurt before, no dairy from Aug to May, and now I'm ea...

Carie, How nice to have your 4 1/2 year example of what diet can do to reduce systemic inflamation. I am very interested in learning about making fermented foods. I'm so glad you are with us. What an honor for your mother and grandmother to have you working in the field of functional medicine. I'm s...

Re: I'm 19 and just found out that I'm APOE 4/4.

Hello Alexa9, I'm glad you found us. How fortunate you are already doing good things for your health and are starting some new ones. Learning we are E4/E4 was startling for many of us who joined 23andme for genealogical purposes. I found out about 3 1/2 years ago. I spent that time learning how to i...

Re: I'm lost...

Hello Lissa, I'm an 80 year old E4/E4. I understand what it is like to have multiple medications for multiple conditions. I found it helpful to make a list of my medications with the name of the medication, strength (mg etc), how often taken, reason for taking it. Whenever I see a doctor I show them...
