Re: Kitano's lipids follow-up

Hi Kitano - I can't find rs801494 in my Promethease report based on my 23andme testing. Where did you find it?

Aha - found it in my Ancestry results and it is GG so it's possible a large dose may be needed.

Re: Kitano's lipids follow-up

Congratulations Kitano! That's fantastic. I would be thrilled if I can get your kind of numbers on a statin or whatever Dr. Krauss recommends. I realize you did decrease your saturated fats also.

Re: NBC Nightly News & Dr. Isaacson Tonight

Russ, Others - What, specifically, are you referring to when you quote Gundry saying size, not number, that matters. I imagine it is some kind of lipid, but which one exactly? And what size are we aiming for? the contrarian view of Dr Gundry (whose basis is clinical experience) is that it is indeed ...

Re: San Fransisco Meet-up in May

Julie asked For those of you who know the traffic patterns, is meeting with Dr. Krauss at 3PM too ambitious? Should I try to push it back by a half hour? Please check with ABrain4me as she would have a better idea. My husband googled it and came up with 55 minutes transit time. So, theoretically we ...

Re: San Fransisco Meet-up in May

Julie - A public thank you for putting this together. I am thrilled we will meet with Dr. Krauss as a group and hope we come up with some very challenging questions for this unique opportunity. I am very impressed with the agenda you have put together and by the generosity of those volunteering thei...

There are many versions of the strawberry story but I like it in this poem. My meditation teacher read this as part of our meditation. Enjoy. Relax, a favorite poem by Ellen Bass http://www.superherolife.com/2014/01/relax-a-favorite-poem-by-ellen-bass/ Bad things are going to happen. Your tomatoes w...

Re: SFA vs Dietary Cholesterol restriction

Stavia said Saturated fat works differently. Fat is not cholesterol at all. IMO your sat fat intake is too high. I try to keep mine under 7 grams a day and if I pig out, it may go to 10grams max and then I feel bad. I was surprised and thought that 7 grams was too restrictive so I did some googling ...
