About a year ago (age 49), my brain shut down and I was unable to function without being in full ketosis. It was at this tim...

Re: Diet for a toddler

I'm 3/4 and my wife is 4/4. I'm 60 and she's soon to be 56. We had coronary calcium scores done several months ago. I got 17 and she got 3 (these are very low, but non-zero scores). My point being, we're well along in years, and while we have some calcium, which we're addressing, it isn't a big deal...

Re: Another newbie

Hi Karen, Welcome. Sounds like you are well on your way to putting the T2 in remission. Excellent!! I would have fired the therapist & shrink, too! In my case, I sought out my ApoE status after 1) having a mom with dementia and watching her (she ate a VLF/HC organic vegan diet she prepared herse...

Re: Dr. Steven Gundry with diet recommendations for ApoE4

My understanding is that most if not all his patients are CVD patients (???), so one possibility is that the lectin sensitivity occurs when someone has high adiponectin and family or personal hx of AI illness *in the context* of something or something or something (maybe a highly inflamed state to ...
