Re: Ashwaghanda

For the type 3 who are doing Nasal inhalation of antibiotics for MarCons, I would not worry so much about the antibiotic entering the brain. In fact, Dale and I have been discussing about the brain infection. It is our suspicion that this may be the route of infection as well (more researchers suspe...

Re: Ashwaghanda

Not that I have anything with this company, but I like their products because the founders of the company studied Ayurveda (like me) so they know what they are doing. Ashwagandha- 500mg each tablet 2X/day after meals. https://www.banyanbotanicals.com/shop/category/herbal-tablets/ashwagandha-tablets-...

Re: New paper by Dr. Bredesen & team

Thanks for all the good words about our work. It's sad that not many in the field will appreciate the transcriptional function of ApoE4. It is interesting, when physicists/mathematicians/chemists see an evidence based work, they will support the findings. Not so with biologists. If it does not fit t...

Re: From Dr. Rammohan "Ram" Rao

Dr. Ram, can you please offer some insight re. the safety of matcha tea? Until just recently, I've been convinced that it's been a helpful part of my prevention strategy because of the high level of antioxidants and ECGC that it offers. Others here have recently raised concerns about cleanliness, h...

[quote="Stavia"]I've emailed Dr Ram. I'll let everyone know as soon as I get an answer ******************* The MS about Zn triggering proteolysis of ApoE4 is interesting. However, I have some reservations about the study. It is an in vitro study (I will know for sure once I manage...

Re: Brain Donation?

Hello all. I've been lurking here for a while, although I don't know what my genetic makeup is. What I do know is that early onset AD runs in my family. I realize that's not what this site is about, but I don't know of a better resource for AD information. My grandfather passed from it at age 52, m...

Re: From Dr. Rammohan "Ram" Rao

I am interested in why it is best to drink warm water. I know that it is common in some cultures (China comes to mind). Also, does drinking green tea in warm water "count." As we grow older our digestion gets compromised. This can create all kinds of problems (according to Ayurveda and Ch...
