Not sure if this applies here. I've tried taking the P5P (activated form of B6) - 50mg - and have found that taking it daily, after just a few days, I have trouble sleeping. I've been taking it once a week instead, and that seems to be ok. (Haven't had any testing.)

Thanks for the helpful replies. I will do more reading up, and be patient while my body has time to adjust to the lower sugar/higher fat diet.

I'm struggling with the fasting thing, too. I've cut back my sugar intake substantially - not all gone, but much much much reduced. Added lots of fat (nuts, tuna, eggs, olives, & extra dark chocolate). I feel like I eat enough. But some nights my body goes hypoglycemic (doing glucose blood test ...

Ya, I'm a planner - architect & urban planner professionally! Do mostly technical stuff.
For exercise, I mostly walk. I like to do four miles daily. Sometimes I do less, sometimes more. I tried running about 6 years ago, but that made my foot hurt, so I quit doing that.
