Great job, team. Thanks to Shelley Schlender, the journalist who put the piece together, George & Theresa for the introduction, and to all who participated.

Regarding the link, in her e-mail, Shelley wrote, “…people are free to download it and use as they wish.”

She also said, "About the story, my editor at the Voice of America says, "It's been very popular!""

I feel it's important to get the word out to put pressure on the medical community to support efforts like Dr Bredesen's and to gain support for people to know their ApoE4 status early enough to pursue interventional vs reversal strategies.

What a great piece! It's amazing what Shelly was able to communicate to viewers in 3 minutes and 9 seconds!
ApoE 4/4 - When I was in 7th grade, my fellow students in history class called me "The Brain" because I had such a memory for detail. I excelled at memorization and aced tests. This childhood memory helps me cope!

Impressive message, short enough for a Public Service Announcement (someday?) From the jumping jack start, food clips to the "hacking" approach, this seem to crystallize what our forum is about.

Shelley got to hang around with us at dinner and other times, and I do think she understood what we were about. Well edited - but I didn't intend to be such a camera hog. ;)

Look what showed up in my news feed. Not only are we spreading the word on ApoE4, we’re helping people learn English! VOA produced a transcript of our VOA video piece for their Learning English area. They also posted an accompanying audio but slowed down the narration to allow English learners to follow along better.

I haven't listened yet, but here's a few additional podcasts from our's and Dr. Bredesen's interviews in Boulder. Both of these are from the Denver/Boulder broadcast on the KGNU Science show:

-Here's an extended interview with Dr. Bredesen: http://howonearthradio.org/archives/5616
-Here's a podcast version of members of our community with Dr. Bredesen: http://howonearthradio.org/archives/5619
