Re: Precision Medicine Initiative Is Getting Underway!
I signed up for it yesterday; thank you so much for posting...I had read about it months ago and wanted to try to participate! I'm excited to be part of advancing medical research.

Wonderful! I wandered into the website via a search on NIH.gov. Then found this thread, which gave me more confidence about signing up, which I did just now. Thanks everyone. It would be interesting to know how many of us are in it.

In case anyone has been thinking about joining the All of Us project in the US, here's a recent announcement of a Facebook event that will discuss how it could help with dementia research:
Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are very common conditions that are difficult to treat. Dr. Suzana Petanceska of the National Institute on Aging and participant ambassador Dr. Randee Bloom will talk about how programs like the All of Us Research Program may advance our understanding of these conditions and someday lead to better treatments and prevention strategies.
This 10-minute episode of the Speaker Series will stream on Facebook Live:
When: Tuesday, November 12 at 1 p.m. ET
Where: AARP’s Create the Good Facebook page.
Be sure to bring your questions! All of Us and Create the Good will respond to viewers during the discussion.
