Maybe getting retested would be a good idea for many of us....

It looks like the Illumina HiSeq 4000 was introduced in January 2015? http://blog.illumina.com/blog/illumina/ ... 000-system

If so, contamination wouldn't be a problem prior to that date. What does 23andme use? https://customercare.23andme.com/hc/en- ... yping-chip

I'd be curious to know how many people have had their results verified? I did (unbeknownst to me) via True Health Diagnostics workup ordered by my FMP. Anybody else?

I had both 23andme and a Health Diagnostic test that said 3/4, well before 2015, if that date turns out to be the important variable.

I am not clear whether this concerns Illumina sequencing or genotyping.

The article talked about problems with Illumina's sequencing platform.
23andme does not use Illumina's sequencers; it uses their gene array chips.

I ordered through LabCorp, then 23andMe and then Gundry did through True Health. Theresa has done both 23andMe and True Health. All same outcome.

Found out thru Health Diagnostics heart panel labs ordered by FMD. I was skeptical and verified afterwards via 23andme.
