After being anticipated over the last 8 months the GWAS results for a 1 million person Educational Attainment study has been revealed. Almost 3,000 genome wide SNPs were found. Educational Attainment is moderately correlated with IQ. An initial crunch through the numbers suggests that they have found 100 SD of Educational Attainment or roughly 1500 IQ points.
