Geez. Another decision. :?
You lost me. What's to decide, Fiver?
Twenty-five studies of almost 22,000 women and men, ages 60 and older, non-Hispanic and of Northwestern European ancestry, were analyzed to assess whether the Klotho allele rs9536314 G/T, termed "Klotho-VS heterozygous" is associated with reduced risk of AD in ApoE 4 carriers.
First, thanks for sharing, NF52. I'm a little confused however, after reading full-text, it looks like two snips comprise Klotho-VS: rs9536314 and rs9527025. Being heterozygous for both appears to be protective. I'm going to re-post this paper to a separate topic to generate discussion and hopefully a better understanding of how the two snips relate and if both are necessary for protection.
