Interesting, but I wonder how many Opthamologists are even aware of this? I had my annual appointment last week, and my Doctor continues to check for macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma (I'm fine), but, to my knowledge, not early warning signs of AD or Parkinson's.

Thank you for sharing this research, Fc1345linville! It promped me to look into coherence tomagraphy further as I am both 3/4 and genetically high risk for macular degeneration. While it's not a smoking gun marker, it just adds another layer of things we can be conscious of to monitor and reduce our risk of developing either of these degenerative diseases.Fc1345linville wrote:From today's Washington Post:
