I have been a lurker/observer here for awhile. My mother and Grandmother both died of Alzheimers. I am a retired prof, math and stat in California. I have developed a swag, scientific wild as guess. I would like to increase n=1 to n >1

Hi Carol and welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and grandmother. As you've been a forum observer for awhile, you probably know that we're all here for similar reasons; we've become aware of our own risk factors and/or we have a family history. This forum gives us the opportunity to share, debate and continue searching for answers.

If you haven't already, you may want to browse our Newcomers Forum Primer. It was written by our physician member, Stavia, and I believe it's the most comprehensive source of information for APOE-e4 carriers you'll find.

Looking forward to learning more about you, Carol, as well as some insights into the swag you mentioned!

Welcome, Carol! My condolences for the loss of your mother and grandmother. On a happier note, as a "math-challenged" person I love seeing scientifically minded folks joining our group. Thanks! :)

So what's the particular SWAG for which you want to see if n>1, Carol?
