Barry, you are very welcome to start a new thread in whichever section you feel appropriateBarry Pearson wrote:In this thread I've posted some information which has been new to some people. It has been suggested (I think) that I post them in a more accessible/visible place. Which forum should that be in?
Here is something that may also be relevant: the Beers Criteria, or Beers List. This is a list of "Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Older Adults". I've searched the forums and Wiki for those terms and I couldn't find them.

(In 2015, I decided that since I was trying to improve my lifestyle, it would confuse things if I took medication too. How would I know whether good or bad results were a result of lifestyle changes or medication? So I stopped taking prescribed or over-the-counter medication. I have had the flu-jab, and I take a few supplements, but so far I've stayed with this policy. I'm concerned that a well-meaning doctor may prescribe medication for some other condition that might have side-effects that will do me extra harm. I read terrible things about what may be prescribed in care-homes, etc. I want to arm myself with the counter arguments).
Here is a book that arrived today. I guess it is already well-known here:
Alzheimer's Disease: What If There Was a Cure?: The Story of Ketones (2013) by Mary T. Newport
