Today I decided to ignore the frightening implications of a 70 degree day in mid February and instead, feel it in the moment, go out for a hike and ENJOY it! And what a bonus I got: saw seven deer along the ridge line! I have lived here for 30 years, and hiked in the BLM badlands behind my house thousands of times, and never til today saw even 1 deer. WOW! so beautiful.
