Welcome suki;

What kind of plan are you looking for? One specific for Ketoflex or for cognitive health in general? Both "The End of Alzheimer's" book and our primer mentioned by ajackson are excellent places to start. Perhaps you are looking for a plan more specific than these? Let us know how we can help you!

I was looking for a grocery list and menus for the ketoflex plan if anyone has one!

Most of us here are attempting nutritional ketosis, developing a flexible metabolism to utilize both glucose and ketones as needed, not eating 3 hours before bedtime, and fasting a minimum of 12 hours overnight. There are many ways of doing this; some members follow Dr Gundry's food lists, others are less concerned about animal saturated fats, etc. One of our soon to be graduated interns is compiling a list of member volunteered recipes, but it not completed yet. If you use our search function (under the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the website), you can search for "recipes" and get some ideas from other members. Sometimes it works to modify the recipes you already enjoy to be more in alignment with the Ketoflex 3/12 plan by adding some health fat and reducing starchy carbohydrates.

Don't know much about keto diet sites, but there are many "Paleo" food bloggers out there, who focus on low carb. They tend not to use grains or legumes, and usually are pretty good about no added sugars (not always, but you can usually axe the honey, coconut sugar, etc in recipes). You could start with their recipes and meal plans - just watch the saturated fat.

My personal favorite blog for recipe ideas (and she has meal plans for her cookbooks) is Against All Grain. Another is Elana's Pantry. Just don't go into the dessert section and you'll find plenty of ideas for meals. ;)

Hello, I am a new member as of a few days ago. I can't decide if it was a good idea to be tested although its too late to change it! Now, I cannot stop myself from interpreting every small moment of forgetting as sign of my failing brain!
My question; is there a forum for learning about research studies and how to learn about them and enroll if possible?
thanks!

Decided to go back and read this thread and links again. Apparently the above link is broken.

Is there a better way to let someone know about broken links, or, is there software that takes care of alerts? I hated to clutter the thread but did not know the alternative.

Thanks Drae, it was an old wiki article from 2014, when we were attempting to reach a consensus. I have annotated the post suchly. Going back to our discussions in 2014 was very good for me personally. Our community was very small, and we were debating even such basic strategies in Ski's list that we now take for granted. So much more certainty, and general awareness now almost 4 years later :)

Hi, Ez, I hope some of the links SusanJ provided proved useful to you. And hope also that after spending a bit of time on the site your anxiety about things might be lessening. Are there questions you have now, that we might help with?
