Now if my Trig/HDL ratio wasn't so high (since the fast, only), I'd break out the (natural) champagne;
My LDL's are the highest ever when sampled at the end of an extended fast.
The data for what is good & bad, etc. are not derived from studies of people doing what you are. I would not worry too my about the numbers. For example, my LDL is high for me when I water fast. However the data on people who are calorie restricted - for example during war - show a significant decrease in heart disease.

My original diabetes doctor also agreed. He said you have diabetes, so you will have high cholesterol. Period. He was very into taking supplements that could help with the complications of T2D, instead of just trying to lower A1c. Turns out they were mostly the same supplements this site suggests... And then you add a keto diet full of ingested fats, and what does that do to the equation?
I can't seem to find the Hopkins LDL calculator, other than articles that talk about it...am I missing something?
The curious thing is to why my triglycerides exploded by 400%, I think I'll test in a day or two and see if that's still the case. Maybe my macros are too high, Cronometer says my basic metabolic rate id 1570 and I'm taking in between 2,200 and 3,000.....
