This is a great idea. I was thinking of finding other Apoe4's in my area by using the Next Door app and posting about starting a support group. I have hesitated because it is so public. Not sure I want everyone to know that I am trying to hack the Apoe4 gene. This database would accomplish the same goal but would be limited to people who are on the forum. I would love to connect with people on a face to face basis. I am not very technical but can definitely do data entry if needed.

Thanks Julie, it sounds like Jan has some interest in helping and I can get it set up for her. Jan can you confirm that after I set up the spreadsheet you could do the data entry with maddanwill? We could find a way to divvy it up between the two of you, maybe by splitting the alphabet. Members submitting whose screen name begins A-M could PM Jan and N-Z could PM maddanwill. (The divvy method really could be worked out between you.) After some new ones are loaded you could alert me to update the data on the map through the APOE4.info account.

I should add that I think this should work. We should try with three rows, upload, then add a row and see how I would update the map. I'm sure the function must allow for updated data.

We can wait for board confirmation.

Yes, I can confirm that I would love to work with Maddanwill, should the Board approve. It would be a really beneficial project for members, I think.
