tesslo, thanks for sharing. My husband always had trouble falling asleep, and we started using a sound machine in our bedroom many years ago (maybe 10?). Can't overstate what a difference white noise makes! Me, on the other hand, can fall asleep mid-sentence, while sitting on the couch and talking to my hubs. And then wake up 5 minutes later to finish the thought.
