This interview had a few interesting tidbits on glycemic control. He mentioned some individuals being able to lower their postprandial glucose / insulin by adding more fat to a meal, while others might see a worsening effect by doing this. He has a "7 day carb test" in his new book with a very conservative target of 150 mg/dL measured +2hrs after finishing a 50g net carb meal. (Imo, this seems way too conservative and far out for the diet optimizer, as it sort of misses the peak measurement... or, perhaps I could get away with quite a bit more carb in my diet.)
