Hi JohnP and Welcome to the community. I used the "spyglass" icon located to the left of your name and searched for Wittels and came up with a couple of previous posts but I don't see her name on the list of ApoE4 Aware Healthcare Providers in the Wiki. Here is the link for what I found: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3475&p=41518&hilit=Wittels#p41518
When you are ready, we'd love to know more about you and your journey.

Welcome, JohnP. I have no idea if Dr. Wittels is Bredesen-trained. Hopefully you do? I did have an opportunity to spend some time with her in LA last summer and she's an excellent choice particularly for anyone dealing with CIRS. She's the real deal; as knowledgeable as Dr. Ross or Dr. Ackerly, just less well known. (In case CIRS is a new term, it stands for Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, which ends up being a driver of cognitive decline for many.) I've never consulted Dr. Wittels as a patient, but from spending time with her, I was incredibly impressed with her knowledge base on this topic. There are few CIRS specialists in the world; she's one.

Hello JohnP: Wishing you a warm welcome to our community :)

I'm sorry to hear of your family member who's experiencing anxiety and subjective memory issues but I'm glad to hear you're looking for a Bredesen provider to help. I wanted to let you know about the Primer written by physician member, Stavia, as a resource for our community. I trust you'll find it full of more information that may prove helpful - and I guess I'm going to presume you know about Dr Bredersen's book?

If you would like to search on topics (like CarrieS did) you can also use Wiki or you can search by using the spyglass icon found at the top of the page near your user name.

Please feel free to reach out to the community any time if you have questions or anytime you would like further support. We're here to share our experiences and information as well as learning as much as we can to lead healthier and happier lives along the way.

Best,
