I'm very curious about the question that is asked in the summary: "1) do these mutations also associate with lower plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)"

Hey Chris, I found this fairly recent ApoC3 paper (full-text) by the same team. Per the data reported, it looks like this mutation DOES lead to reduced LDL-C.
