Drink Tea!

Post by LG1 »

Dr. Rhonda Patrick just posted this on FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/foundmyfitness ... nref=story

"Daily tea consumption (green, black or oolong) was associated with a 50% reduced risk of cognitive decline and a 86% lower risk in people genetically predisposed (ApoE4 gene) for Alzheimer's disease."

Very interesting LG1, Initially I thought " Well drinking 3 or 4 cups of tea daily didn't help my Mum" but then remembered like most other people at the time, she switched from brewing a pot of tea, to using teabags. Off to get an infuser, thanks LG1.

Jafa, forgive my ignorance, but how is a teabag with tea leaves in it different than an infuser with tea leaves in it?

Hi George, Dunno what your teabags are like. Ours contain finely ground tea, almost powder like. I think tea leaves were used in the study which may contain more catechins etc.
