High blood pressure/AD considerations
Re: High blood pressure/AD considerations
I’m also curious about your brand, NewRon. My son has high BP.

I took two teabags in a 500mL teapot one evening, one teabag in a 500mL pot next day and by that afternoon, BP was 120/80, from 150/90-ish. Quite amazing, I was very impressed. My BP had only increased in the last year.
Apparently the effects wear off after about three days if you stop taking it.

This is from the journal Hypertension -- but I think some will be interested in it for its relationship to mitochondria.

Re: High blood pressure/AD considerations
NewRon, thanks so much for this suggestion! I have had slightly elevated systolic blood pressure for about a year (about the amount of time that I have known I'm a 4/4 -- coincidence?!) and decided to try the hibiscus tea. I, too, got amazing results in a matter of days, with average systolic pressure falling from a range of 125-130 to 105-115. Tastes good, too! I just bought my hibiscus tea bags in bulk from Republic of Tea!NewRon wrote:Has anyone tried hibiscus tea?
It gave me a 25-30 point in drop in systolic.

Re: MitoQ -- new study
So would this mean that the hibiscus tea would be a replacement for the MitoQ, I wonder? I don't think my LDL had dropped with the tea, unfortunately...marthaNH wrote:http://hyper.ahajournals.org/content/ea ... .117.10787
