How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor

Hi everyone,

Wow, the site has really taken off! Very exciting.

Despite being around a while I need to ask a basic question. How could I find a doctor trained in the Bredesen-protocol or similar in the Baltimore, Maryland area? In this case, I am trying to help my mom. We've gone as far as we can to help her ourselves, with a family doctor who resists all but a few parts of the program. She needs one good doctor to organize the care, order lab tests, etc.

I'm sorry if this is a commonly-asked question.

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Tom

also, if you go to recodereport.com I think you can search for a practitioner by area after you register with an email, but before giving them $ .
that is only if you want to pay $75 per month and a one year commitment to have lab results submitted to them and recode recommendations

Welcome to the forum rat8the8rat.

And thanks for posting the MPI contact information for the group. Has Melissa Manning been able to connect you with a Bredesen-trained physician? I will contact her, as I am interested in seeing if any of the new physicians trained in Dallas are practicing in the Chicago area.

Hi, Julie and thank you for the warm welcome. No, I have not been able to find a Dallas-based physician trained in the Bredesen protocol yet. I am on the list to be notified when there are practitioners near me trained. I have requested several times, and evidently they're still training physicians here locally and don't have any listed yet. I haven't called her, but have just received the automated e-mail replies back that I am on the list and will be notified when there are physicians trained in my area. So I'm still waiting. Thanks! Kathy ;)

I had also been on that list to be called, however never was called and found the doctor myself who had attended a training. so it doesn't hurt to keep looking, there may be somebody there!

There may be news on this front very soon. I attended the Institute for Functional Medicine Advanced Clinical Training on Reversing Cognitive Decline (September 9-10 in Dallas). (I am a health coach, not a practitioner.) But all who attended just got a followup email requesting that they set up their ReCODE Report account "to receive patient referrals and to stay up to date with the latest of Dr Dale Bredesen's science and clinical advances."

It further says "We anticipate going live late next week with www.recodereport.com for patients searching trained practitioners in The Bredesen Protocol nearest them."

Sounds like we're on the doorstep.
