Gum disease into remission

Post by Orangeblossom »

I just got back from the dentists and wanted to share with you what he said about teeth - he said I used to have a small area of gum disease around a back lower wisdom tooth (sometimes this can happen when they come through) but it is now historic / cleared up and he thinks this is to do with a combination of things- basically and overall health (since cutting carbs basically) and improved brushing (using a Phillips electric toothbrush and floss picks) it has basically cleared up, he said all of this before I even mentioned the changes I had been making. I still need to keep an eye on it and see the hygienist regularly but he said just to keep doing what I'm doing.

I thought I'd are as I know dental hygiene is something we need to keep an eye on. I was so pleased to see it can be sent into remission :)
