I would not say that how much animal protein is appropriate is settled, there are differing opinions. My 4/4 wife and I are patients of Dr. Gundry and he suggests limiting saturated fat from animals as he's clinically seen this raise sdLDL and oxLDL levels in 4's. He also suggests limiting animal protein to about 4 oz a day. He suggests we get our animal protein from shellfish and whitefish and avoid dairy, especially cheese.

I hear you marigold I often struggle looking always for simple ideas and recipes. I live a very busy life and I wish there were more items I could just buy off the shelf and prepare quickly :)
52 years of age, 4/4, BMI ~19, Omad, No cognitive decline as of yet ;)
