This Antioxidant Can Smash Insulin Resistance And Autoimmune Disease

Postby Welcomeaboard » Wed Dec 17, 2014 5:01 pm

It is ALA according to the article. Since so many are talking about glucose and insulin resistance, perhaps it is time to research this article and add documentation either supporting or denying
The article came out in 2010 and I did not see anything stating it was true, false or reversed. May be something worth examining further.

ALA is alpha lipoic acid. What you can find is cabbage boosts glutathione and cabbage is in sauerkraut.

It is also on Mercola's site. The claim is a great changer of gene(s) that express inflammation and heavy metal chelator. I have been trying to find clinical trials or anything that confirms or denies, but to no avail so far.
There is a claim to mix it with ldn to cure stuff as well, which I have not researched either. Kinda like to know whether someone is just spewing at their pie hole or if there is any gas in their tank when I read what they are promoting.

Dr. Bredesen includes under optimize antioxidants and references citation no. 52. I don't have his article handy, just the table.

Sidetone: I see he also includes mixed tocopherols in this category, but I think Dr. Isaacson said there wasn't enough evidence behind using vitamin E? Need to double check.
ApoE 3/4 > Thanks in advance for any responses made to my posts.
