Being worked up for bladder cancer...
Re: Being worked up for bladder cancer...
Holding good thoughts and sending an extra dose of strength and hugs.
Re: Being worked up for bladder cancer...
(((((((((Julie))))))))) sending loving energy your way! Treat yourself with lots of relaxation and pampering, and avoid too much stress. Your life style must be so much better than that of your uncle's so gene is only part of the story, I sure hope.

Love you Julie!! I really do: I'm wishing my hardest that all is well
Re: Being worked up for bladder cancer...
(((Julie))) that's rubbish! Like you don't have enough to deal with already! From your posts here it is obvious that you are an extremely strong, capable woman and if anyone can get through what ever is going on its you. Take care.

I’m humbled by your kindness, friends. Sweet Stavia (who spent two hours calming me down via WhatsApp) also thinks it’s a flare of my IC, Circ. This feels quite different, but I hope you’re both right. I doubt my exercise is too strenuous. I do a lot, but it’s quite gentle. I stop to pet deer, watch birds, collect beach glass, etc. J11, my Uncle was genotyped, both by 23andMe and his oncologist. This gene was implicated even though he never smoked. (He was exposed to second hand smoke.)
The waiting sucks…but I’m trying to see it as a gift. My priorities are shifting in a good way. Life feels somehow more precious. Each sunset is more beautiful. Time spent with my friends and family is more treasured. This is probably just a scare, but also a good opportunity to step back and reevaluate my focus. Your support helps. Thank you.
