Has anyone played this game that is designed to detect early signs of dementia?
It is available in the Apple App store.

Actually it looks like it's part of a research project out of University College London. It sounds like it doesn't currently detect dementia, but will provide data that helps scientists turn it into a more diagnostic tool:

'This video game could help doctors diagnose dementia'

"Step one is establishing this live database of how do people navigate...that gives us the tool to develop that diagnostic," said Spiers. The team imagine a future scenario in which people suffering from dementia can be identified early -- by playing the game -- and trialed on relevant drugs to stop the disease taking full hold of their mind.

I like the idea of a game that will move us forward and will download that

I played a few games a couple of weeks ago and then got busy with other "fun" things lol. It was very easy at first but I'm sure it gets more challenging. As I played I was thinking the creators/researchers behind the endeavor would probably like to tap into our community.

Maybe they could somehow collect apoe data from voluntary contributors, but they'd probably need it verified and correlated with game results somehow. I have a feeling it would be too complicated? If they could get people already confirmed e4 and documented in other studies to also play the game as a cohort whose results are extracted, that might work better. Also Drs. Bredesen and Gundry, who regularly test apoe (I expect Dr. Bredesen does), could funnel e4 patients to the game/researchers for this.

I plan to play it today.
