Thank you for doing this Stavia! It's been great to read and we value your opinion and insights! Looking forward to the rest. Plus, it was nice to hear about our friends and what you all are doing in Colorful Colorado. Wish I could be with you.

from my own previous post:
1. how do you measure brain insulin resistance? how do you know if you have it?
2. any information on how to make the brain more insulin sensitive? improve GLUT1 function?
3. any updates on intranasal insulin?

after googling:

1. a kind of PET scan
2. cerebrolysin (needs to be injected, used for treatment after stroke, not approved for dementia treatment in the US)
3. still need to google

-i am not so confident in having improved brain function using ketones, as i have felt no improvement with a ketogenic diet and coconut oil. so i am researching how to improve glucose utilization in the brain. in addition, my hot flashes at least seem to be caused by low serotonin primarily, so i'm not putting all my eggs in the ketone basket.

hi Pro. Sorry didn't see this until now.
1. research only
2. reduce visceral fat, exercise, fasting, low carb ie the usual
3. off the top of my head from her talk only gives very short term improvement because it uses up the IDE which is needed to degrade amyloid

Stavia, thanks for these summaries and reports. I can't wait to watch videos of many of the presentations you've described so far.

Circular, sorry to hear your mother is not doing well. Please keep us updated.

It's phenomenal just reading these posts and getting a glimpse of sorts of the vibes and action going on! So wish I were there, but in some ways feel like I am :)

Thank you so much for the valuable info. I know it must take a lot of your time. You guys are very generous to help so many others. Wish I could have gone...perhaps one day.

Here we are at the end of our final day at the conference. Tonight we are honouring Dr Terry Wahls who has been very generous with her time.
George and Theresa will post the audio file of her advice to us below this.
