Welcome, Don. I'm so sorry to hear how strongly dementia has affected your family. I'm also extraordinarily proud of you for being here and wanting to be proactive and do something about it. A great starting place is our Primer written by a member physician. Feel free to ask questions on your journey. We're happy to have you join us.

Hi Don

welcome to the forum. You have reached the right group where we share and care for each other.

I would like to invite you to the primer of this forum written by Dr. Stavia one of the pioneer and senior members of this forum. Dr Stavia has put a lot of information together in the primer of this site to start off with

viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1418

and there is much more incidental and relevant information on the forum, if you are looking for anything in specific which you can find through the search function found within the the three stacked boxes in the top right hand corner of this page. There are a big group of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable people with practical information to share on may topics and If you have any questions come up as you go you are welcome to put them on the forum and you will have answers coming your way from all directions.

We are also interested in knowing more about you and you may share with us in "Our Stories" which is within the "Board Index" on the top left hand corner of this page. Once you go into the "our stories" you will find "New Topic " and after hitting that button a text editor box will open up within which you may share all you would like to and then hit the "submit" button.

welcome to the forum again

have a nice day

Hello Don,
I'm glad to see another 80 year old joining me in this group. I'm an E4/E4 female who has been a member for 4 years next week. I'm in way better health than I was four years ago thanks to what I have learned here. The primer is a good place to start. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you.
