Hi I was originally for Alzheimer's Prevention, but now I think it may be too controversial. Which really seems ridiculous, but the fact that Dr. B is considered controversial, should be a warning. Also others have suggested we broaden the scope to general brain health, even though we will initially be targeting those concerned about dementia. in the future we way be reaching out to others. So if we con't have enough suggestions yet, what about Brain Care and Repair or Brain Health Help.

I would argue that we should target dementia, and not the more broad general brain health. This is who we are (I think...).

I like the acronym idea, but I don’t think I’d go with the apoe acronym. There are still many people who don’t realize that age is the number one risk factor. I’d make genetics a subtopic somewhere. The concept that e4s are like canaries in the coal mine is good, except that phrase itself is getting tired and used in many contexts.

Julie G--I really like these! Hard to choose my favorite. But I tend to like INSTEAD because it emphasizes that a change in beliefs (we CAN do something to prevent AD) and habits (those 9) will result in an alternate universe instead of the one we are hurling toward now.

Those are clever Julie. I couldn't come up with clever acronym, but I did think of this while sitting in the sauna:

Arresting Alzheimer's
or Alzheimer's under Arrest
with the tag line
Stopping Alzheimer's petty crimes before it steals your brain.

LOL, nothing. It was a free logo generator and that was my only "brain" option. I just wanted to see what a logo for this idea could look like. Still in brain storming mode. I encourage anyone who has a name/logo idea to do the same and snap a pic to share.
