Don't stop taking your L-selenomethionine supplement and if you aren't taking this supplement you will want to start taking it. My husband Dennis N Crouse is a chemist and has spent the last week and a half reading about COVAD-19. He is a chemist and spent his career (he is retired) in the field of environmental toxins. He has found that taking L-Selenomethionine offers protection from this virus. Here is a link to his write up and here is a link to a just published paper that reviews 'treatments' for COVAD-19. The full text of the research paper is available for free.

Is anyone familiar with the use of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Lianhua Qingwen? Is this a viable option in the US?

Search for a practitioner that has a Dipl CH or greater, they should be able to advise.

Re your article;

The ingredients are listed halfway through the article but a Dipl CH graduate should also be consulted. It's not just as simple as taking the prescription you mentioned, just to make that clear (see the elotus.org article above).

Or eat Selenium-rich foods like Brazil nuts (1-2 a day), right?Don't stop taking your L-selenomethionine supplement and if you aren't taking this supplement you will want to start taking it. Selenium is an important nutrient. It's important to not be deficient in any vitamin or mineral going into a virus. But what Dr. Crouse appears to do is take his background and underlying concerns in ROS/metal ions and then shoehorn it into a solution for a viral lung infection. His logic reads to me like a chemist's answer to a microbiology/virology problem.
We should be looking at SARS-CoV1 and drawing lessons from that. Selenium is an important part of the diet, but it isn't much of a direct solution for the coronavirus. Lactoferrin, zinc and orange juice (hesperidin) strikes me as far more obvious choices.

We are a supplement manufacturer primarily involved with lipids and plasmalogens. Along with our marine lipids and plasmalogens we complex curcumin to the phospholipids, It appears to have many benefits not the least being a Covid 19 treatment. Just google the two, curcumin and Covid. With two Covid new variants causing mayhem I am very happy to be taking my own capsules, however New Zealand is not the best testing grounds, as at this stage we are not under any lockdown. The new variants may well change that due to the higher transmission ability.
