Re: Is anyone else experimenting with ALZLIFE? (40-hz light/sound therapy applectable

we have been using it for about a week now; it’s a lot easier to keep interest high, due to the wide variety of games available , and the electable range of difficulty. The flashing lights very rapidly become not even noticed, due to becoming engaged and immersed in the various games. There’s truly ...

Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements

Not to be too practical about it, but I have a mundane question: given that my wife has been diagnosed by her physician with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and given that Dr. Bredesen has prescribed (in his book "The End of Alzheimer's") specific herbs, vitamins, and supplements for treat...

Re: New member, caregiver to ApoE3/4 spouse with MCI

Thanks, Flora Maria! I appreciate your thoughtful response. I’m wondering if there are any commercially-prepared kombucha products that have no sweeteners? Might not taste that great without fruit purée flavors and sweeteners, huh? I really enjoy kimchee and sauerkraut for probiotics, and I’m workin...

Re: New member, caregiver to ApoE3/4 spouse with MCI

Looking for some input on the following diet questions: we've entirely -- and successfully -- eliminated processed sugar from our diet, and occasionally drink kombucha, among other things (not fruit juice, nor wine nor beer). What are your thoughts on drinking commercially prepared kombucha (GT's an...

Re: Non-Bluetooth Sleep Trackers

'kay, thanks... i suspect that's the case with many folks. I don't know if it would make any difference to those who feel similarly, but the Sleep U only transmits data after it's "turned off", that is, after it is no longer actively reading (removed from the wrist and finger/thumb).

Re: Non-Bluetooth Sleep Trackers

If it makes you feel better, Circ, my Dreem2 is still sitting in the box. I've been too busy to play with it, but plan to bust it open tonight. I think part of me is afraid of what I'll learn, lol. I've also recently discovered this continuous pulse oximetry gadget, for only $179. I think I'm gonna...

Re: Sneak Preview of Dr. Bredesen's new Brain Food Pyramid

Dr. Bredesen has published a similar series of case studies on 100 patients and is in the midst of a clinical trial that is wrapping up by the end of this year. The first paper(s) should come out of that in early January. Very heartening indeed! Thanks for the link! We started trying to implement t...

Re: New here? Some Best Practices

Oh, and I guess I should admit my one weakness - I eat copious amounts of guacamole (I make my own).... haven't you heard, it's the new ketchup ;-).Russ Us loves Guac, but us loves Salsa mas! As for the new ketchup, we use organic tomato paste instead: super tasty-sweet, no sugar, no additives, and...
